Who is destroying the walls of trust between Muslims? This question is not just an emotional reaction, but the beginning of understanding a scenario in which a new chapter of doubt, hatred and mistrust opens with every drop of blood. These events do not seem accidental; on the contrary, they appear to be part of a plan aimed at distancing Muslims from their common human and Islamic identity and at drawing them into a state of constant hostility based on division.
ISIS in modern terrorism is not just a name for weapons, but a systemic project to capture consciousness. This group understands that if minds are won, then geography will surrender on its own; therefore, its war unfolds not only on the surface of cities, but also deep within thinking, emotions and narratives. Each event is interpreted in such a way that the result is predetermined: doubt, alienation and persistent mistrust between Sunnis and Shiites.
This is not only physical violence, but also cognitive intrusion. You can see how truth is deliberately distorted, information is presented in fragments, and emotions are constantly fueled. When truth is fragmented, consciousness is captivated by fear and guesswork instead of holistic understanding, and this is where the ground for nurturing hatred is created.
In this equation, the most dangerous thing is that the historical and ideological connections of the ummah become the target of the blow. Although the differences between Sunnis and Shiites are a historical reality, they should not become an instrument of constant hostility that undermines the coexistence and unity of the Muslim community. ISIS seeks to turn these differences into the flames of conflict to destroy the foundations of Muslim unity.
Why does the blood of innocent people turn into a fire of division? Because such attacks not only cause physical destruction, but also create deep psychological and social wounds. Each incident forms a new circle of doubts in people’s minds, and doubt becomes the basis of mistrust. When mistrust spreads, society begins to collapse from within, even without open war.
From an Islamic perspective, killing an innocent person is one of the greatest violations of human values.
The Holy Quran equates
the unjust murder of one person to the murder of all humanity is the strongest moral affirmation of the sanctity of life. Consequently, any act directed against innocent people is clearly contrary to the spirit of Islamic principles and constitutes an abuse of religion.
Why do such attacks continue to happen again?
Because ISIS follows a strategy of internal decay of society instead of direct confrontation. Their goal is to make people look at each other with suspicion, since it is this doubt that is the most dangerous poison for society.
When society splits from within, external pressure is no longer required, it itself moves towards its destruction.
But behind all this darkness lies an important truth: although this war is written in blood, it is won through awareness.
If people recognize the hidden hand of division behind every event, then the true goal of this war is defeated.
Victory does not lie in the domination of one side over the other, but in saving society from the fire of discord. ISIS becomes strong when we see each other as enemies, and is defeated when we begin to see each other as people, brothers and those who share a common destiny.
This is not a war of weapons, this is a war of ideas, and a war of ideas is won when truth takes the place of emotions, and awareness leads instead of fear.
