The places that ISIS attacked due to the expansion of their territory were not the cities under the control of Bashar’s Alawite regime, but rather the juicy targets for the followers of Ibn Muljam, cities that the mujahideen of Syria had obtained with thousands of martyrs and great sacrifices. While they were engaged in fighting the Alawite government, ISIS members started a new front from the other side against the mujahideen.
