Part IV

Abu Hajar al-Kurdi

If we are to explain and document the crimes of ISIS, the number of volumes may reach dozens, as the army of Satan and the followers of this infamous group have committed countless betrayals without end.

The widespread depravity of this merciless sect is so immense that it is difficult to fathom where it began and where it ends.

Within every corner of the world where a Muslim resides, the detrimental impact of the misdeeds of these traitors is evident; from Iraq to India and extending even to multiple continents.

Wherever their presence is felt, nothing but negative memories, terror, and cruelty linger among the people.

Although it is challenging to provide a comprehensive account of the followers of this group, as a Muslim and an individual with experience, I am compelled to highlight a few key points about them.

*How did ISIS come into existence?*

Since its inception, ISIS has presented two distinct personas to the world. Initially, there were few discrepancies between them; however, I aim to focus on the persona that emerged after the year 2014 AD.

Before we delve into the early stages of their betrayal and treachery, I would like to briefly discuss the origins of ISIS.

The ISIS group was established by Sheikh Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, under the name «Jama’at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad» with the aim of waging armed resistance against the Crusaders during the Iraq occupation in 2003.

This group, which expanded through various phases, initiated military operations in numerous Iraqi cities.

Sheikh Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, in 2006, announced the formation of the «Mujahideen Shura Council» to unite all Sunni armed groups in Iraq.

Following Zarqawi’s martyrdom at the hands of American forces, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi assumed leadership.

He was also martyred by American forces in 2010 and after his (Abu Omar al-Baghdadi) and Abu Hamza Muhajir’s martyrdom, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi rose to become the leader of ISIS.
